Thunder sink into two-game deficit against Jazz

After a back-and-forth first two quarters, the Jazz pulled away at the end. The Thunder missed too many shots by the end of the game Tuesday in Salt Lake City. OKC, down 3-1, will have to win two consecutive games if they want a chance at advancing to the second round.

Tempers flare

The biggest and most constant battle throughout the game occurred between Paul George and Joe Ingles. It began early in the first quarter after George pushed Ingles and got a technical foul for arguing with Donovan Mitchell. Throughout the rest of the game, George and Ingles continued to exchange words. Jae Crowder was also tossed from the game after getting into a scuffle and striking Steven Adams in the face.

Carmelo Anthony struggled to make shots the entire game. He shot 27 percent from the floor and didn’t make any of the six 3s he attempted. Melo ended with 11 points, but many people identified his lack of efficiency as one of the main reasons the Thunder lost this game.
