George scores 36
Paul George was electric in his first playoff appearance for the Thunder. George, a former Pacer, set an Oklahoma City playoff record, scoring eight 3-pointers. He shot 13-for-20 and led the Thunder in scoring. Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony followed George with 29 and 15 points, respectively.
Mitchell shines in first playoff game
Donovan Mitchell looked fantastic in the early stages of the game, making all of his first four shots. In the first playoff game of his career, he recorded a double double with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Mitchell had to take a step out of the game in the second half when Corey Brewer accidentally stepped on his left foot. He returned in the fourth quarter but still hobbled from his injury.
