The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night in the AT&T Center in San Antonio. The Thunder entered the fourth quarter with a four-point lead, but the Spurs capitalized on OKC’s poor shooting and mistakes to come away with the victory.

George leads scoring for Oklahoma City

Paul George scored 26 points for the Thunder and led the team. Russell Westbrook followed closely with 19. Thursday night’s performance was George’s best of March so far.

Thunder and Spurs split series at 2 games each

With a little under 2 weeks left in the regular season, each game is crucial for seeding. A victory against the Spurs would have moved the Thunder above San Antonio in the case of a tiebreaker. OKC continued its battle for seeding in Oklahoma City against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night and lost again.
