Westbrook pushes Thunder past Spurs
The Thunder received some major help from Russell Westbrook, their star point guard, against the Spurs on Saturday in Oklahoma City. Westbrook ended the game with a triple double and 21 points. This was his 19th triple double of the season and 98th of his career.
Adams leaves game with ankle injury
Early in the third quarter, Steven Adams collided with Dejounte Murray in the air and rolled his left ankle. Adams left the game and didn’t return. The Spurs took advantage of Adams’ absence as LaMarcus Aldridge went 4-of-7 shooting in the rest of the third.
Several players add offensive help
The Thunder got some extra help from multiple players against the Spurs. At halftime, Corey Brewer led them in scoring, and he ended the night with 12 points. The Thunder also received a little pop from Nick Collison, who helped put the Spurs away in the end.
