The Oklahoma City Thunder got back to their winning ways with a resounding victory against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Russell Westbrook led the Thunder with 27 points, and all starters posted double-digit scoring.

Booker scores 30

Devin Booker, one of the NBA’s young stars, had another stellar individual performance against OKC. Booker recorded 30 points, tallied six rebounds and shot 100 percent from the free-throw line. OKC did a better job limiting Booker, who scored 39 against the Thunder a week ago.

Brewer gets first start

Corey Brewer, who recently was acquired from the Clippers, got the nod for his first start from coach Billy Donovan. The two are already familiar with one another, as Donovan coached Brewer at the University of Florida, where they won back-to-back titles. This time, playing in the blue of Oklahoma City, Brewer had a solid game. He scored 17 points and made key cuts and moves to help defeat the Suns.
