LeBron falls short

LeBron James scored 18 points on 8-of-17 shooting on an afternoon when he needed 25 to become the youngest NBA player to score 30,000 career points. After the Thunder’s road victory against the Cavaliers on Saturday, in James is now seven points shy of this accomplishment and will look to make history Tuesday in San Antonio as the Cavs take on the Spurs.

Thunder starters shine

The Thunder starters showed out this afternoon against a struggling Cavs team that had lost seven of its last ten. The starters shot 64 percent from the floor and scored 121 of OKC’s 148 points. Paul George was the leading scorer with 36 points and also added seven rebounds.

Westbrook’s vision leads charge

Russell Westbrook is used to putting up insane stat lines, and he did it again Saturday. Westbrook was just one rebound short of a triple double, but he made up for that with the 20 assists he dished out. When the Thunder offense is clicking, it’s a sight to see, especially with Westbrook as the lead ball handler.
