Oklahoma vs Kansas State
Kansas State upset Oklahoma 87-69 in Manhattan, Kansas on Tuesday night. Barry Brown led the way for the Wildcats with 24 points.
K-State made Trae Young struggle the entire night. He was held to 20 points on 8-of-21 shooting. The defensive effort (13-5, 3-3 Big 12) was enough for the Wildcats to bounce back from a heartbreaking 73-72 loss against rival Kansas. This was K-State’s sixth consecutive victory against the Sooners at Bramlage Coliseum.
OU was averaging 93.6 points per game, the top in the country, but the Sooners were held to 42 percent from the field and tallied 20 turnovers against the Wildcats.
K-State captured the victory without its best player, Kamau Stokes, who remains out with a foot injury.
OU (14-3, 4-2) visits Oklahoma State for the second edition of Bedlam on Saturday.
K-State wraps up back-to-back home games when it faces No. 24 TCU on Saturday.
