Buy Low

Rex Burkhead, RB, New England Patriots

The New England Patriots have had a rollercoaster season in their backfield with three different backs producing at a high rate. Rex Burkhead is one of those backs. Burkhead is in his fifth season and has carved out a strong role for the Patriots over the past few weeks. He has put up double-digit fantasy point performances in three of his past four games. Burkhead’s carries have increased, making him a viable FLEX or RB2 option in deeper leagues, therefore, go pick him up before it is too late.

Jeremy Maclin, WR, Baltimore Ravens

Jeremy Maclin has been consistent all year for the Baltimore Ravens, averaging eight fantasy points per game. Maclin has been a go-to target for quarterback Joe Flacco, as he leads the Ravens with 344 receiving yards. He has also tallied three touchdowns. Maclin has amassed five double-digit fantasy outings in the nine games he has played. He is poised to have a strong outing against a Lions’ defense that Case Keenum and the Vikings shredded for 282 yards and two touchdowns. Maclin is a solid pickup for the rest of the season as a high end WR2.

Sell High

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys

I said it once and I’ll say it again; sell Dak Prescott high before his value drops too far. Prescott’s struggles continued on Thanksgiving, as he had his third straight game with at least two turnovers as the Cowboys lost 28-6 to the Chargers. The Cowboys have gone 0-3 since Ezekiel Elliott began his suspension, including three straight blowouts in which they failed to reach double digit points. Prescott has been abysmal without Elliott and shows no signs of improvement, therefore sell him for a more reliable quarterback or risk missing out on your league championship.

Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver Broncos

Demaryius Thomas has been the Broncos No. 1 receiver, amassing 651 yards on 58 receptions. He has also scored three touchdowns. Thomas has been one of the few bright spots in an all-around disappointing season for the Broncos as they have lost seven straight games after starting the season 3-1. However, they have had a revolving door at quarterback with three different players getting a start. Therefore, sell Thomas as high as you can before his numbers begin to plummet.
