Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant got off to a quick start in Atlanta, making two receptions for 28 yards and drawing a defensive holding penalty on the Cowboys first drive. After his first catch, he shoved cornerback Desmond Trufant off him with a huge stiff arm and ran for another 5 yards. Bryant was essentially contained after that, however, making only two more catches for 11 yards the rest of the game. With all-pro tackle Tyron Smith out, the Cowboys struggled to give quarterback Dak Prescott any time to find his receivers, which played a role in Bryant’s limited production.
Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Cleveland Browns
After a week off during Cleveland’s bye, Emmanuel Ogbah exploded back with arguably his most productive performance of the season. Against Detroit, he finished with two sacks, tying his total for the first nine weeks combined and bringing his season total to four. Sacks weren’t the only way Ogbah made an impact, though. He also made three tackles, all for a loss. Ogbah will look to continue his momentum next week when the Browns host Jacksonville.
Blake Jarwin, TE, Dallas Cowboys
Blake Jarwin made his NFL regular season debut on Sunday. With backup tight end Geoff Swaim nursing a knee injury, Jarwin was made active on gameday for the first time since Dallas promoted him from the practice squad two weeks ago. He didn’t make a catch, however, being used primarily as a blocker in limited snaps.
