Thunder fall to 1-8 Kings

The OKC Thunder’s record falls to 4-6 after a disappointing night in Sacramento. The Kings had lost their previous seven games. The Thunder started well ending the first quarter, leading 25-10. The momentum slipped from there after the Kings put up 32 in the second quarter.

Kings’ bench comes up big

Sacramento’s bench came out swinging scoring the team’s first 29 points, a new NBA record. Buddy Hield came off the bench and put up a season-high 21 points. In total The Kings’ bench scored 53 of their 94 points.

Steven Adams: Ford Player of the Game

Steven Adams was one of the Thunder’s few positives notes. He was chosen as the Ford Player of the Game after his performance. Adams shined offensively and defensively. On defense, he recorded five steals. On offense, Adams was 4-of-5 on field goals and 6-of-6 on free throws scoring 14 points.
