Rickie Fowler finished tied for second at the BMW Championship with a score of 18-under this past weekend. He posted a 67 during the final round to keep pace with Justin Rose and earn 980 points toward the FedEx Cup. Fowler’s finish is his best since he finished second at the Memorial Tournament on June 1-4. With his finish at the BMW Championship, Fowler has moved up to sixth in the FedEx Cup standings.
Morgan Hoffman didn’t have a great Dell Tech Championships on Sept. 1-4, as he finished tied for 40th at 1-under. The finish was one in a string of bad finishes since his July 13-16 John Deere Classic tournament, where he finished Tied for 12th. He finished the season 81st in the FedEx Cup standings.
Peter Uihlein earned his PGA Tour card after winning the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship on Aug. 31- Sept. 3, shooting 6-under. Uihlein will begin his trek up the FedEx Cup rankings as he looks to find his place in the PGA Tour. His last PGA tournament was the PGA Championship, which was held Aug. 10-13. Uihlein was cut after posting a 74 in rounds one and two.
