Marcus Smart, guard, Boston Celtics (10.6 ppg, 4.6 ast, 3.8 reb)
Marcus Smart finished the regular season strongly as the Celtics go into the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the East. Smart was a great facilitator last week as he averaged 6.2 assists per game, including an eight-assist outing in the season finale. Smart nearly scored a season-high in a loss to the Hawks on Thursday night, tallying 18 points. He ended the week averaging 9.8 points per game as the Celtics prepare to face the Chicago Bulls in the first round.
Tony Allen, guard, Memphis Grizzlies (9.1 ppg, 5.5 reb, 1.6 stl)
Tony Allen finished the regular season on a sour note as he hobbled off the court with a lower leg injury in the first quarter of the season finale against the Mavericks. The 12-year veteran hopes to be healthy for the playoffs as the Grizzlies take on the No. 2 San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. Allen improved his accuracy, shooting 59 percent from the field this week. He finished the week averaging 8.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
