Westbrook sets triple-double record

A game after getting enough assists to average a triple double for an entire season, Russell Westbrook got his 42nd triple double of the 2016-17 season with 50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists. He passed Oscar Robertson, who had 41 triple doubles in the 1961-62 season, for most in a single season. Westbrook also passed Wilt Chamberlain for career triple doubles. Westbrook has 79 in his career, fourth most in history.

Westbrook hits game-winning shot

Westbrook hit a 30-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer to sink the Denver Nuggets and their playoff hopes. The Thunder were down 10 with 2:27 remaining before Westbrook scored 11-straight points to win the game. The loss also knocked the Nuggets out of playoff contention.

First-round playoff matchups set

In the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, Oklahoma City will face Houston in the 3-6 seed matchup. Golden State will play Portland in the 1-8, San Antonio will play Memphis in the 2-7 and L.A. and Utah will play in the 4-5 matchup, though the seeding for that game is still up for grabs. The Thunder lost the season series to Houston, 3-1.
