Vancouver Canucks center Markus Granlund will undergo season-ending wrist surgery. Granlund is the Canucks’ second-leading goal scorer with a career-high 19 goals this season.

 

Blue Jackets clinch first playoff appearance since 2014

The Columbus Blue Jackets clinched a playoff berth with Sunday’s 4-1 victory against the New Jersey Devils. The playoff berth marks the Blue Jackets’ third playoff appearance ever and first since 2014.

 

Blackhawks clinch playoff berth

Sunday’s 6-3 victory against the Colorado Avalanche along with the L.A Kings loss clinched the Chicago Blackhawks ninth straight playoff berth. The win also strengthens the Blackhawks hold on first place of the Central Division as well as the Western Conference.

 

Maple Leafs strengthen wild card lead

The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Boston Bruins 4-2 on Monday. The victory extended the Maple Leafs’ lead for the Eastern Conference’s final wild card spot to three points over the New York Islanders.
