Big bench performance

The Thunder’s bench scored 45 points on 16-of-24 shooting Friday night. Joffrey Lauvergne scored 16 points and Anthony Morrow scored 15 on six shots. Lauvergne and Morrow both made 3-of-4 from behind the arc. It was the first positive performance from the bench since Enes Kanter’s injury.

Great fourth quarter play

The Thunder ended the game on a 21-4 run, with Russell Westbrook scoring the last 15 points of the game. He hit back-to-back 3-pointers to help OKC (29-22) go up six with about a minute remaining and a steal with 30 seconds left that helped seal the victory. Westbrook scored 19 points on six shots in the quarter.

Triple-double No. 25 for Westbrook

Westbrook scored 38 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had 12 assists. His performance helped the Thunder snap a three-game losing streak. OKC now holds a 2-1 series advantage against Memphis this season, which could be big in terms of playoff seeding.
