Another week of the NFL is in the books. Let’s see how Oklahoma State Cowboy alumni did this past week on the big stage.
Dez Bryant, wide receiver, Dallas Cowboys
After an anticipating wait for his long return, Bryant was ruled active for the Cowboys’ Sunday night showdown against division rival Philadelphia Eagles. Bryant was covered tightly all game, and even double teamed by the Eagles’ secondary. He still managed to have four receptions for 113 receiving yards and caught the game-tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter that sent the game to overtime. The Cowboys emerged victorious in Bryant’s return. Bryant’s had 15 receptions for 263 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season so far.
Dan Bailey, kicker, Dallas Cowboys
There are not many nicknames you can give this man, but “Mr. Perfect” suites him just fine. Bailey had another perfect game, as he was three-for-three on the night. It pays off to have arguably the best kicker in the NFL.
Emmanuel Ogbah, linebacker, Cleveland Browns
After it seemed like the Browns were going to win their first game of the season, they squandered a double-digit lead late and lost. Despite the loss, Ogbah had a much better showing against the Jets. He had two tackles and assisted on four other tackles. The rookie linebacker has been off to a tough start, but continues to improve as the season progresses.
